Product Spotlight

The Sensit Gold G2 has become the standard issue instrument for gas companies and their contractors throughout the US, including locally PECO, PGW, Delmarva, Chesapeake Utilities, and Elizabethtown Gas.  The G2 is an easy-to-use and maintain instrument that can be configured for up to four gas sensors and features Sensits’ unique “tick-rate” for early detection and pinpointing of even the smallest of gas leaks.

Our newest multi-gas instrument is the Sensit Gold G3, which adds rechargeable batteries, data logging, and GPS capabilities to the G2.  BGE, NYSEG, and RGE have recently begun using the G3.

The SENSIT VMD is a fast, accurate, and cost-effective Vehicle Methane Detection System. BGE, PSE&G, Philadelphia Gas Works and PECO have recently purchased these to address their mobile survey requirements. For more than a decade, the VMD has helped keep communities safe while meeting the natural gas industry’s compliance requirements. In addition, at a cost of less than $30K, the VMD is the most economical and efficient product in the mobile leak survey category (a fraction of the cost of AMLD systems) and offers instantaneous results! In addition, because the communication between the exterior sensor and the receiving tablet is wireless, the VMD can be easily transferred from vehicle to vehicle.
